Capercaillie
Capercaillie, or Wood Grouse, is the largest member
of the grouse family, reaching over 100 cm in length and 5 kg in
weight, making it an impressive bird to encounter at close range.

This series of the capercaillie was taken after a night of hard
rain, and it was still raining when it was getting ligth enough to
take pictures.
